Math- Understanding integers, coordinate, planes and graphs. We will soon be diving into fraction…. please make study multiplication with your student. Before the Christmas break we took a test on division, mean, mode, range, & median. I have graded them and returned them to your students to put in their homework folders and take home.
Science- We will continue to conduct experiment exploring heredity. If you have any string of Christmas lights that no longer work will you please donate them to us for our upcoming electricity/energy unit.
WRITING-For the month of January we will be doing lots of writing. The Utah State Writing Test is in February. The student (or teachers) do not know what the writing topic will be on or what type of paper they are to write until the test is administered. The test is given on a computer and your student will type their thoughts and ideas. If you have access to a computer please have your child practice typing.
