What did the volcano say to the other volcano?
-You’re too young to smoke.
Math- This week we are reviewing math concepts we have learned throughout the year in preparation for testing and preparing for the 6th grade.
Science- We are learning about the States of Matter. I love this unit because there are so many fun experiments. We are also doing a science day on Thursday with all the 5th grade teachers where the students rotate from classroom to classroom.
Language and Reading-
We have been learning about Biographies and different people who have influenced our present time. It has been fun to learn new facts about people and we will be soon learning and writing autobiographies. We are also writing a short paper on “What the Flag Means to Me”. One person from our class will read their essay at the flag ceremony on Friday.
