UTAH WRITES TEST ON TUESDAY! J 

Math- Fractions, fractions, fractions! We will be finishing the first chapter of fractions and having our fractions test on Friday 25, 2011.  We will then learn about area, perimeter and measuring. 

Science- Today, Monday, 28^th we had an electricity, 5^th grade, assembly and conducted experiment following the assembly. If your student is able please donate two DD batteries it would be greatly appreciated.  The batteries will contribute to our electricity and magnetism unit.   The science fair is on March 24^th.  I am not requiring students to participate in the science fair however, I am strongly encouraging them to do so I will be available to help any students who would like my help after school. 

   

WRITING- OUR WRITING TEST IS ON TUESDAY, MARCH 1 FROM 1:000-3:00pm.  Please try to make sure your student comesto school this day and have had a good nights rest.

Language and Reading-   

   The book fair is next week during SEP week.  You can also purchase tri-fold boards for the science fair; 

      They are less expensive at the book fair than they are at Wal-Mart and are available in more an array of

      Colors.

    SEP week is next week!  I have sent a gold colored form with your appointment time and date on the form.  Please sign the form and have your student return the bottom portion of the form.  I have many available appointments open on Tuesday and Wednesday if your scheduled time does not work for you.
