Reading and Vocabulary:  There is a separate packet with all of the information for our upcoming book report.  The students can choose a chapter book of their liking to present as a “Book in a Bag!”  I will provide the students with a plastic bag in order to complete their assignment.  We have library on Wednesday so students who do to have a book can check one out on Wednesday.  You can also check the blog mrs-smith5.blogspot.com for the assignment.

Spelling:  For spelling homework the students will complete the spelling relay.  Each student should have a half sheet of paper with his or her spelling list.

The students have P.E. on Tuesdays and Fridays.  If the students wear snow boots to school they may want to bring a pair of tennis shoes in order to be able to run better during this time.  (P.E. does take place in the gym when the weather is cold.)
